A charter in Sanskrit on 5 plates, issued by the Eastern Chalukya king Vijayaditya III (Gunaka) (r. CE 849-892), son of Vishnuvardhana V, granting a village in Gudravara district to the Brahmin Vinayadi Sarman. Probably about the middle of the 9th century CE.

Scope and Contents Charter in Sanskrit on 5 plates, issued by Sriranga Deva Raya [Sriranga I] of Vijayanagara in the year of the Saka era 1502 (CE 1580/1). The inscription is clearly engraved on one side of each of the plates, which are moulded in the characteristic stele shape of the period (with a rounded central extension at the top). Charter in Sanskrit, on 3 copper plates, with seal on ring, issued by the Western Calukya Emperor Vijayaditya Satyasraya, son of Vinayaditya, conveying (after a historical introduction) the village of Sinhalavapura (?) to some Brahmins in Saka 622 (CE 700). A late and very inaccurate copy of a genuine document now lost.
